About Me

I graduated in May of 2021 from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA, with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology with a concentration in Christian Education. Along with Christian Education courses, my favorite classes were language and exegesis classes as well as preaching and worship leadership electives. I believe that education can and should happen beyond the Sunday school hour in worship, play, mission experiences, and even in pastoral care.

I am originally from Durham, North Carolina, and I have a BA in Religious Studies with a minor in Non-Profit Management from Appalachian State University. Before going to CTS, I worked at a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness in Miami, Florida, as a Young Adult Volunteer, and I was a bartender at a cider bar in Durham.

Ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA), I currently serve as the minister at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Starkville, Mississippi, where I have completely jumped onto the Mississippi State bandwagon, cowbell and all. In my spare time, I enjoy gathering friends together, baking, live music, college football, and workplace comedies.
